If you are not saved and the rapture takes place, you will be hard pressed to get the supplies you need during the times to come. The time to start preparing is now. There will be a major shortage of supplies when a catastrophe hits and the trucks aren’t refilling the stores.

There are many survival items that you can store now, and “forget” about, which you may need later during varying degrees of an emergency. The following are 55 suggested items that you can store and have ready.

1. Toilet paper, and other sanitation items such as feminine hygiene products, diapers for infants, etc. These are items that should be mass stored if possible.
2. Paper Towels. Too many uses to mention, store as many as you can.
3. Coffee filters. For those drinkers of coffee of course, but these are excellent filters for many other purposes.
4. Trash bags. All sizes. You can also store many free plastic grocery bags from the store every time you get them after shopping. Important for bagging up refuse and preventing disease.
5. Zip type plastic freezer bags.
6. Ice coolers, various sizes. If you have room, can be used to keep things cool or cold, but also used to keep items from freezing in very cold weather.
7. Shovels. All sizes from small garden type to those used for digging. Very important to have after a disaster.
8. Kitchen items. Sponges and other scratchy pads. You are likely not going to have a dishwasher after a disaster and you have to have some means of cleaning pots, pans, dishes.
9. Cotton balls. First aid uses, putting cotton in ears of people that need their ears protected from the cold, etc.
10. Paper to write on. This includes note pads, index cards.
11. Pens and pencils, especially the click pencil type that don’t need a sharpener.
12. Rubber bands. This also includes hair bands. Used to keep items organized and from flying apart.
13. Tape. All kinds from duct, masking, electric, to scotch. Many uses.
14. Hand sewing materials. Threads, needles, buttons, zippers, you are going to need them.
15. Matches. Keep them dry and store lots of them.
16. Salt. You won’t believe in certain areas how hard it is to get this necessary mineral for survival. Store as much as you can.
17. Aluminum foil. Good for cooking and many other uses.
18. Candles. All sizes. Not only for light at night but can be used to heat small items up in small cookware.
19. Hand operated can openers. Without many of these you will have a bad time trying to get your canned food out.
20. Basic Tools. This includes hammers, screwdrivers, saws, axes, utility knives, scissors. Anything extra that you can store from your toolbox.
21. Small hardware. Nails, screws, hooks, wires, etc. Store in clear jars with lids or in original packages.
22. 5- or 6-gallon plastic gas containers. Can be used for gas or other fuels as well as for water that are durable.
23. Magnifying glasses. Use to see small items, main use to start fire if matches are wet or out of them.
24. Envelopes. All sizes for storage. Smaller for seeds you can get from the wild as one example. Tough postal envelopes are also good for storage after a disaster.
25. Empty boxes. You are really going to need this if you have to suddenly move somewhere quick for clothes and other items. Many grocery stores will give you free fruit boxes that are sturdy and have lids. Also, large plastic boxes with lids. Try to store empty boxes within the empty spaces of each other.
26. Shoelaces. Many people have shoes that are still wearable and need shoelaces. Shoelaces are also good for tying off material with other purposes.
27. Paper plates, plastic eating utensils, disposable drinking glasses and cups. IF you can store enough, excellent way to save your soap supplies by not having to wash the dishes.
28. Bedding. Blankets, sheets, pillows, pillowcases. Just because you are in emergency does not mean you have to live like a refuge.
29. Bathroom towels. All sizes from hand to bath. You will be very grateful to be able to dry yourself off with something you are used to.
30. Fishing line and string. Lots of uses.
31. Nylon rope, cord, clothes lines. Do not be without.
32. Dental needs. Toothbrushes, dental floss. Even without toothpaste you can still keep your teeth healthy.
33. Q-tips. Not only personal use but uses for fine detailed work.
34. Honey. Lasts practically forever and a good sweetener for many foods.
35. Spray bottles. Use to disperse insect repellent as one of many uses.
36. First aid kit. Most items such as bandages, gauze, tweezers, nail clippers, scissors, wrapping tape, etc. can be stored without rotating.
37. Newspaper. Yes, newspaper for starting fires, wrapping delicate items, insulation. Keep dry and preferably in sealed boxes.
38. Safety pins. Fastening of almost anything that has broken. Bobby pins also good.
39. Cheap plastic sunglasses. You will really need to protect your eyes after an emergency, glare is something that people forget about if they have to be outdoors for extended periods of time.
40. Hats. One size fits all baseball type caps, scarfs, ski caps. A lot of heat is lost through an uncovered head, also sunburn.
41. Gloves. So important from keeping hands warm to protection of your hands from hazards such as broken glass.
42. Extra clothes that you will not wear other than after a disaster. Don’t forget the extra comfortable shoes, socks, underwear, warm jackets.
43. Small handheld mirrors. For signaling but also for personal grooming and seeing what your eyes can’t without a mirror.
44. Cloth grocery bags with handles. A very good way of collecting usable things such as food from the wild.
45. Stapler with plenty of staples. Also, paper clips to seal off small items and fastening paper. Your package of survival seeds as for example.
46. Electric extension cords. You may actually still have electricity from some source such as a generator. Can be used as a substitute for light duty style rope also.
47. Brushes. From nail, paint, to hairbrushes. One good use for a hairbrush is removal of ticks, fleas, burrs, from clothing.
48. Measurement devices. Tape measures, rulers, very important to know distances, how big, how small something is rather than guessing.
49. Games. Boredom is awful, and a simple deck of cards, board games, something to take up time if confined after an emergency.
50. Books. Anything that will give you information and instructions on survival, cooking, plant identification, map books. Your bookcase may not be around after a disaster, store information you will need someday.
51. Wind up clocks and watches. Your battery operates clocks and watches or other time telling instruments are someday not going to work. Wind up clock better than using a sundial.
52. Snap top plastic containers. Ziploc, Tupperware, anything that can air seal something. All sizes.
53. Stick on notes. Use to label what you have after the disaster. Secure it better with scotch tape if you want.
54. Money. If you can store it somewhere and forget about it and not spend it other than in emergency. Cash money may be the only way to buy anything after a disaster that has not taken out the monetary system.
55. Plastic tarps. Many sizes and inexpensive. Cannot emphasize how many uses these have and can be folded up and stored in smaller spaces.

First off, I think it is significant that John is the only Apostle that was at the cross when Jesus died and is the one that is given the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

John is suddenly called to Heaven. Some may disagree, but this is a representation of the Church being raptured to Heaven.
In chapter four, the Church goes up and is not mentioned of again until chapter 19 in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

There will be a sound so loud, you will think a truck load of dynamite went off in your front yard.

The saints are around the throne room of God.

2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

The twenty four elders are present. Twelve elders from the twelve tribe of Israel and the twelve Apostles that followed Jesus Christ.

4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

The image above is for illustration purposes only. The Cherubim are standing around the throne with their wings extended out to one another. Unfortunately, there aren’t many picture that accurately represent this scene.

3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Focusing on the four beasts, these beasts are found in Ezekiel and are Cherubim.

Revelation 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

They have four wings and there were only five of these in existence. There are four here around the throne and one is the fifth Cherub that covereth. The fifth one has fallen and is Satan.

7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

The four beasts described in Ezekiel all have the four faces that are seen here. the position that John is in, he can see one face of each Cherub and is explaining what he saw.

It is probably no coincidence that the Cherubim are the one that say come and see as the four horses are released.

8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

I know, you think you just read that the beasts have six wings and most of your modern Bibles do omit one word. The word they omit and that changes the beast is “about”
If I put my arm around my wife, she will have three arms about her but she will only still have two arms of her own.
These Cherubim are surrounding the throne and have their wings extended around each other. Giving the each six wings about them.

Seraphim have six wings and the number of them is unknown.

Once we are raptured, from that point on, we will never get hot or cold, we will never get tired. We will be in our new body and given a white robe.

Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The first seal reveals a white horse which represents peace and has a bow but no arrows. He is the phony that comes in peace and claims to be the messiah, and many will follow him.

6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

The second horse that is revealed is red which represents blood. The first horse has been ridden and now peace is removed. At this point, murder will be legal and many will kill each other.

How far would we have to go to legalize murder? How many trials let people off for murder now and how many babies are murdered everyday from abortion.

6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

The third horse is black and represents death and darkness across the land.

6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

A loaf of bread will cost a days pay and you will pay it because you will have to feed your family. Notice there is no meat in this verse, everyone will be vegetarians. The animals will have more rights than people. You can’t kill that cow or that piggy or that deer.

This is what they use in jail to keep people tame (bread and water) and is what they will use to keep everyone calm.

6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

The fourth horse representing famine in the land. this is the only horse where the rider is named and he is death. Many will die by the sword, by hunger and the fear of men will be removed from the beasts of the earth and they will kill many.

Notice this is the only rider that is named? That is why I believe there is only one rider that will ride each horse until it serves its purpose and the rider will jump to the next horse and the next.

The Day of the Lord is the Second Coming when Jesus sets foot on the Mount of Olives and is to be greatly feared.

Most of the new age churches today tend to read the Bible from Matthew to Revelation and apply it all to the gentiles and don’t rightly divide their Bible. Not all of the New Testament was written to the Church, but only parts of it. Other parts of it were written to the Jews at the time it was written and to the Jews that will be living during the time of Jacob’s Trouble (Great Tribulation). And other parts of it are written to the unsaved gentiles that will go through the seven year tribulation.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

If you study your Bible and rightly divide the Word of God, you will see that it is impossible for these two events to be the same.

The Pretribulation Rapture of Church is to be looked forward to as the ‘blessed hope’ in Titus 2:13. The Second Coming is a day to be greatly feared as described in Amos 5:18.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

The Rapture of the Church is the “day of Christ” and will be a glorious day for the believers when Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to meet us in the air.

The Second Coming is called the “day of the Lord” and is to be greatly feared as it will be full of darkness.

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.

The Rapture and Second coming cannot be the same if one is a blessed hope and the other is darkness.

The Rapture of the Church

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

The Second Coming

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
Isaiah 13:9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it

Jesus Christ comes for his church at the time of the Rapture and the Church comes back with Jesus Christ during His Second Coming.

At the Rapture, the Church is caught up and disappears from the face of the Earth. At the Second Coming, Jesus returns with His saints. This is another major flaw when the new age churches don’t rightly divide the Bible and try to say the two events are one and the same.

At the Rapture, the saints will be going up and at the Second Coming, the saints will be coming down. See the difference?

The Rapture of the Church

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Second Coming

Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

The Church is taken up to Heaven at the Rapture. At the Second Coming, Jesus sets up his one thousand year rule on earth.

Through the writing of Paul and John, the Church is promised a Heavenly home. The Jews and the Tribulation saints are not given the same promise and are given an earthly Kingdom ruled by Jesus.

The Rapture of the Church

John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The Second Coming

Revelation 20:4 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The Rapture happens before the Antichrist rides the four horses and the beginning of Great Tribulation, while the Second Coming happens after both.

In a letter to the Thessalonians, Paul tells us (the Saints) we are not appointed to wrath and Matthew tells us that the Second Coming is after the tribulation of those days. So the Rapture and the Second Coming cannot be the same.

The Rapture of the Church

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The Second Coming

Matthew 24:29-30 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

At the Rapture, only the Church will see the Lord coming for them. At the Second Coming, The whole world will see the return of the Lord.

Paul calls the Rapture of the Church a mystery. The Holt Spirit used Paul to write the doctrine. At the Rapture, only the true believers who have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ will here His voice as a sound of a trumpet calling us up to meet Him in the air.
At His Second Coming, The whole world will see Jesus Christ returning for the judgement of the whole world.

The Rapture of the Church

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Second Coming

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

At the Rapture, Jesus comes to gather His Church. At the Second Coming, angels do all the gathering for judgment.

In a moment, at the twinkling of an eye, Jesus will shout for us to come up, there are no angels involved. At the Second Coming, only angels are sent to gather God’s elect which are the Jewish remnant that made it through Great Tribulation.

The Rapture of the Church

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Second Coming

Mathew 24:30-31 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Following the Rapture is the Judgement Seat of Christ & following the Second Coming is the Judgement of Nations.

Immediately after the Rapture of the Church, Paul says we will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ. Since we have accepted Jesus Christ as our saviour, our sin will not be judged. Jesus died on the cross of Calvary for our sins. We will be judged by our works. But immediately after the Second Coming, the judgment that takes place is a public judgment of the nations.

The Rapture of the Church

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The Second Coming

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

False Peace, War, Death & Famine follow the Rapture & 1,000 years of true world peace follows the Second Coming.

Immediately after the Rapture there will be an unbelievable suffering known as the Time of Jacob’s Trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) & Immediately following the battle of Armageddon, 1,000 years of unbelievable peace on earth will be led by Jesus Christ & we will rule and rein with him. In Matthew 24 when the Apostles ask Jesus what will be the sign of His coming, they were still looking for a kingdom here on earth and were not given the doctrine of the rapture of the church until thirty years later.

The Rapture of the Church

The Second Coming

Isaiah 11:6-10 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Matthew 24:3, 6-10 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

The doctrine of the Rapture of the Church was not revealed until the Lord revealed it to Paul.

In Corinthians 15 Paul first reveals the Rapture of the Church as a mystery God revealed to him alone. Paul is the Apostle that is to teach the Church. The Book of Matthew was written for the Jews around 35 AD and the Book of Corinthians was written for the Church around 66 AD. This shows that Matthew 24 cannot be for the Church since they did not know of the Rapture at that time. The Church was not even formed at the time of the book of Matthew.

The Rapture of the Church

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

At the Pretribulation Rapture, believers are given a glorified body, at the Second Coming they remain in earthly bodies as they enter the Millennial Kingdom.

At the Rapture, The Church (Body of Christ) undergoes a glorious transformation and receives a new body the same as Jesus did at his Resurrection. At the time of the Second Coming, as Jesus sets on the Throne in Jerusalem, the people who miraculously made it through Great Tribulation will still be in there earthly bodies and are able to die. Christians that receive their glorified bodies, can never die.

The Rapture of the Church

Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

The Second Coming

Isaiah 65:17-21 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

If you are not saved and a born again Christian, I ask you to consider the consequences as well as the rewards of salvation in Jesus Christ an invite you to the most important and lift changing decision you will ever make.

How To Be Saved

During great tribulation there will be a red war horse ridden that will take peace from the earth by starting what will be world war III.

The only way to better prepare for a nuclear strike is to better educate yourself on the effects of an explosion in your area. The size and the type of weapon are the primary factor when it comes to the effects of the weapon. The primary effects of a nuclear weapon are extreme heat, extreme light, blast and radiation.

If a nuclear weapon was ever detonated, there are only a couple of factors that would affect the devastating impact of the bomb. The terrain and the weather. Is the are hilly of flat? Is it raining, sunny, or windy?

There are three types of nuclear explosions. Air, Surface and Sub-Surface. Most nuclear weapons today are 1 megaton or less. 1 megaton = 1 million tons of TNT.

Explosions that are on the surface create a large amount of radioactive fallout that which most of it usually reaches the surface within the first 24 hours. The distance it travels depends on wind speed and direction, The amount is effected by the moisture and if it is raining. For example, during rainfall, the fallout would be minimal due to water particles forcing the radiation to the ground in a much more timely manner.

Fallout is the exploded debris from the earth that the radiation from the weapon condense onto and that debris falls back to the earth. Essentially it is contaminated earth.

The nuclear explosion from a one megaton bomb creates a 1/4 mile crater and about a 3/4 mile fire ball. Every structure within 1 3/4 mile is completely destroyed unless it is specifically designed for this type of attack. There is severe damage to industrial type buildings out to 3 miles. Moderate damage to industrial type buildings out to 5 miles and many fires started. Light damage all the way out to 7 miles and the potential for the fire to spread rapidly.

You can expect no residential buildings to survive out to the five mile mark. On a clear day, we can expect the fires to extend out to 8 miles.

What would happen to people?

Anyone within the five mile range would most likely be killed from the extreme heat and fires. The biggest threat from a nuclear weapon is the radioactive fallout. The proximity of the blast would be the primary factor on the effects of people.

Depending on the amount of radiation exposure, it would only take a couple of days for a person to lose energy and become very sick.

Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)

A nuclear explosion just above the earths surface could damage electrical or electronic components for thousands of miles. An electromagnetic pulse has no direct effect on living things. Basically anything plugged into a power source or has an antenna greater than 30 inches can be effected by an EMP. Solid state devices such as cell phones and television can be protected simply by unplugging them from a power source.

EMP charges are collected by basic conductors such as power lines, cables, antennas, and buried pipes.

Protection From Nuclear Fallout

If you are out of the area that is effected by the blast and fires, you may still need protection from the radiation fallout that follows a nuclear explosion.

There are three things to consider when taking action.

1. Distance – The more distance you put between yourself and the fallout particles, the less radiation exposure you will have.
2. Mass – You need a heavy mass material between you and the fallout particles. Concrete, bricks and earth absorb the gamma rays and give you protection.
3. Time – er time the radioactive fallout loses its strength and it occurs rapidly.

The decay of the nuclear fallout is measured in roentgens by the 7/10 rule. For example, if the radiation intensity after detonation 1 hour is 1,000 (R), after seven hours pass in time there will be a decrease by one-tenth or 100 (R).

The best defense to to decrease the chance of radiation poisoning is to stay in a fallout shelter. The time required in the shelter depends on the amount of fallout deposited in your area and can range from two days to two weeks.

Fallout Shelters

FEMA states that there are fallout shelters in suburban and rural areas, but also state that you may want to build your own. Most basements need a lot of improvement to be used as a fallout shelter.

If any of the basement is above ground, you must and some sort of shielding material to the outside wall to provide the protection needed. An example is earth filled planters on the outside of the walls.

Improvised Shelter – If you have a large desk or table available, you can build an improvised shelter in case of an emergency. Place the desk or table into position first and then fill the drawers with the materials listed below. Just keep in mind the thickness of the materials and the weight of the materials needed so you do not collapse the desk or table in on yourself.

Shielding materials

• 5 – 6 inches of brick
• 6 inches of sand or gravel
• 7 inches of earth
• 8 inches of hollow concrete blocks (6 inches if filled with sand)
• 10 inches of water
• 14 inches of books or magazines
• 18 inches of wood

If the ceiling of the shelter is made of wood or any other light weight material, be sure to reinforce it with one of the shielding materials listed above. Additionally be sure to shied off the entrance once everyone is inside.

With the current threats to America and the incompetence of the government, I would hope to get enough warning to get to my shelter let alone have to improvise one. If you have a space to prepare a shelter, the time to do it is now.

Final Word

Whether you are a believer or not, the Bible is unfolding right before your eyes. The players on the world stage are the same players listed in Ezekiel 38 and 39. No one knows how far we must go into the beginning of sorrows as Christians, but we need to be prepared in our hearts as much as we are prepared in our survival. Without God we do not survive in this world let alone in the next.

Salvation

God declares earth as the Kingdom of Heaven.

Revelation 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

The Temple is filled with smoke and no one can enter.

The First Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Those that received the mark of the beast get a nasty sore that stinks. Boils are mentioned in the book of Exodus when Moses was dealing with Pharaoh to release the Jews from bondage. So I would imagine a big nasty boil that has a nasty odor forming on those that took the mark of the east. As we get into the later age of technology, one would think it may be a chemical in a chip implant or from the material used for the mark causing an infection.

The Second Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

The poison that it would take to kill every soul in the sea would be a strong concentrate. I can’t even imagine what that might be.

The Third Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

All the fresh water is turned to blood along with the fountains. This means the running water. I can imagine a person getting into the shower and turns the water on and blood comes out. Imagine the fear and the panic this causes.

The Fourth Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:8-9 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Well here is your global warming after all. This climate change is on God’s timing and there will be a time it gets really hot out there. I guess there may not be much water around to keep you cool at this time either. People still do not repent.

The Fifth Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:10-11 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Darkness fills the land of the beast and those that follow him. What do they do? Blaspheme God and still do not repent from their sins. The hate in their hearts must be solid.

The Sixth Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Here are the unclean spirits that show the false trinity. They finally raise up and go to the kings of the earth to create the largest army to ever known for the battle of armageddon. I’m guessing these are the ten kings with seven crowns that are leading the world at this time.

The Seventh Vial Is Poured Out

Revelation 16:17-21 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

The greatest earthquakes ever that cause the islands to sink and the mountains to crumble. There will be 85-100 pound hail stones crushing everything that they hit causing a plague and men still blaspheme God.

There are usually one of two things that take place when bad things happen to us, We either get right with God or we get mad at God. I guess we find our paths in our own way, but sometimes we need someone to confide in. That someone is God or a pastor or maybe just our spouse or a fried. We all need someone to talk to.

The seven seals have been broken and the antichrist has ridden the four horses, there has been false peace, war, death, sickness and disease. The followers of Jesus have been martyred, There has been a great earthquake, the sun has been darkened, and the moon turned red. There is silence.

Then suddenly after the quiet, an angel fills a censer with fire from the alter and casts it to the earth. The angels with the trumpets prepare themselves to sound.

The First Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Hail and fire mingled with blood! Looks like ALL grass and a whole lot of trees are burned. You think the wild fires in California and Australia are bad, You have seen nothing compared to this.

The Second Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 8:8-9 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

A mountain burning with fire sounds like a volcano to me. Could you imagine if you threw a molten lava filled mountain into water? The explosion alone would be heard and felt for miles. This causes one-third of the sea to turn red and one-third of the sea life to die. You think the environmentalists and the animal rights activist are crazy now, they will have heart attacks seeing this. One-third part of the ships are destroyed.

The Third Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 8:10-11 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

A great star falls from heaven and poisons the water, I wonder if one of those filter straws protects against that? I have the feeling they don’t.

The Fourth Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

One-third of the moon, stars, and sun darkens. One-third of the day and night are darkened. Three times the angel yells woe!

The Fifth Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 9:1-12

Locusts out of the pit of hell! They have faces like men and crowns of gold, long hair, lion’s teeth, and a tail like a scorpion and are given the power of a scorpion. They will sting only the nonbelievers and they will be in torment for five months. They will wish for death and will not find it.

Here is the real zombie apocalypse for you. These people will try to kill themselves because the pain they feel from the locusts bite will be so ad they will just want to die. If death flees from them and they try to cut their wrists or blow their brains out, what would that look like? People walking around wit the side of their head missing. Gaping wounds from the cuts. The more they try, the worse it gets.

The Sixth Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 9:13-18

Four fallen angels are released and will slay one-third of men with fire and smoke from their mouths. The Euphrates river dries up and and army that numbers two-hundred million. There were riders that had tails and the tails had heads that would hurt men. After all of this, the men that were not hurt would still not repent from their sins.

What would it take for you to repent? What would you have to see? Many people will see many terrible things and still would not repent. Many will end up in hell and although it is too late for them, they would still not repent.

The Seventh Trumpet Sounds

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Another break from the plagues, the kingdom of God is declared and onto the seven bowls of judgment, 24 elders in heaven declare it’s time to destroy those who destroy the earth. The temple in heaven is opened, featuring the ark of his testament.

As mentioned in the introduction article, the USA is not found in Bible prophecy. I like to think the United States is still a majority Christian nation, but I think I may be mistaken.

The reason I like to think that is it seems to rationalize the reason the United States is not found in Bible prophecy when the Nation of Israel is attacked and no nation goes to their aid. There are only a couple reasons that the USA would not go to Israels aid if they were attacked. They have a large scale war they are dealing with themselves or they are so devastated by an attack that they simply have no way to respond.

I think they are so preoccupied with the chaos that will be taking place when the Rapture happens that their world is turned upside down and they can’t pull anything together in time to respond to an attack on Israel.

The Effects Of The Rapture

In the moment, In the twinkling of an eye. Millions of believers in Christ suddenly disappear. The effects on a nation the size of the United States would be devastating.

Military personnel just gone. Vehicles being driven just start crashing. Planes falling from the sky. Workers operating machines and equipment disappear and the machines don’t stop. Fires breaking out and the fire fighters are gone or too busy fighting other fires to respond. Power plants shut down, reactors overheat and explode. Chemical plants that are monitored 24/7 are melting down.

This is just the beginning. Right after millions of people just disappear from the earth, millions of others are dead within minutes due to the effects of the Rapture. Some theologians say there is a gap between the Rapture and the rise of the antichrist. I couldn’t think of a better time for the antichrist to rise and come offering a false peace.

The Length Of The Great Tribulation Period

The Jewish calendar has 30 days per month, which is 360 days per year, so 2520 days equals seven years. This will be the longest seven years people on this earth shall see. The thing to come during this time will cause men’s heart to fail just from watching.

The Seven Seals

There is a book mentioned in the bible in the book of Daniel that God instructed him to seal up until the time of the end (Daniel 12:7-9). This book, I believe is the book mentioned in the fifth chapter of Revelation on which Jesus will break the seals right after the Rapture. The effects of these seals being broken are in sixth chapter of the book of Revelation.

The First Seal Revelation 6:1-2

The first seal is broken and a white horse rides. The color white represents peace. The rider is given a bow, but there is no mention of arrows, he is also given a crown which represents him as a leader. It says he will go conquering.

This is the antichrist that comes under false pretenses to lead with world peace after all of the chaos caused by the Rapture, but he will wage war on the saints. The people will be looking for a leader to explain what has happened and to lead them through it.

The Second Seal Revelation 6:3-4

The second seal is open and a red horse rides. The color red represents blood. The rider is given a sword which represents war and he will take the peace from the earth and the people will kill each other.

This rider is also the antichrist. The white horse has been ridden and the red horse is now on the move. There is no mention of these riders being different. The pony express used horses to deliver the mail, the rider would ride one horse until it was tired and then jump on another horse and ride it tired. This is the same method the antichrist is using.

This is when world war three begins. Everything we see before the Rapture will be the wars and rumors of wars Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24.

The Third Seal Revelation 6:5-6

The third seal is opened and a black horse rides. The color black represents death or darkness. The scales represent a price as the wheat and barley increase drastically due to crops being thinned from the previous wars, But the oil and the wine has been preserved.

Oil men have controlled the world for a long time and that doesn’t seem to change any. What else has the devil used to destroy families more than alcohol? It seems there will be plenty of wine during the end times as well.

Looks to me that everyone becomes vegetarian, I don’t see any mention of meat is this verse and food is scarce after the wars. Just as the crops were destroyed, think about the animals that are destroyed as well. This will bring us to a time when the animals are forbidden from being used as food. Besides, what keeps people more calm than bread and water. That is what they used in jails years ago to help keep the inmates relaxed.

The Fourth Seal Revelation 6:7-8

The fourth seal is broken and a pale horse rides. The color pale represents sickness, disease and famine. The rider of this horse is give a name and his name is death. Hell follows him and they (demons) are given power over one fourth of the earth. People will be slaughtered, starve to death and killed by the wild animals.

At this point, the four horses have ridden and after the wars and the famines and the plagues on earth there probably seems, to anyone that is still alive that there is little too no hope. For one fourth of the earth, it is literally hell on earth. I mean, if you survive this then you should probably already be on your knees praying to the Lord.

The Fifth Seal Revelation 6:9-11

The fifth seal is broken and there are the ones that have turned to the Lord during this horrific time and their lives were taken because of their faith and for their testimonies. They are told the judgment will still continue and are all given white robes as they wait for their brethren to be slain for the same reason.

The Sixth Seal Revelation 6:12-17

There is a great earthquake, the sun turns black and the moon becomes as blood. Meteors fall from space and every mountain is moved out of its place.

There is no place to hide from God, the people realize they are going through judgment and flee to the mountains. Have you ever talked to a doomsday prepper? They will almost always say they will run to the mountains and hide it out. I believe God was way ahead of us on this one. The rich will give you their limousine and all their money to have a hiding place. You may as well take it, but only in cash to use to barter later if you survive.

The Bible does ask “who shall be able to stand?”

The Seventh Seal

Revelation 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

When the seventh seal is broken there will be silence in Heaven for about half an hour.

Just as God rested the seventh day, There will be a short time of silence during the Great Tribulation.

This concludes the opening of the seals, But the judgment is far from over. Right after the silence in Heaven the Angels are given seven trumpets and the judgment will continue. The antichrist will still sit on the throne and be given all power over this earth.

Summary

A leader rises and captivates the world with his talks of world peace and then makes war with the ones that follow Jesus. Great wars break out and the food supplies diminish. People get sick with rampant disease. Death and hell rise to earth and many flee to the mountains to hide from God’s judgment and the mountains are moved.

After reading this, you may think there is no hope. The ones that overcome the delusion of the antichrist and accept Jesus Christ as their saviour, are the ones that are not affected by many of the plagues during the Great Tribulation.
